Rachael and Matthew's December Wedding at Knowsley Hall

Now that our new website is live we're blogging some of our stunning 2015 weddings, starting with this gorgeous couple, Rachael and Matthew...
Rachael and Matthew first contacted us back in January 2015 to order their Lydia Collection save the date magnets in black and white. When they told us they were having a Christmas wedding at Knowsley Hall we knew it was going to be EPIC! Their day was a black-tie affair complimented by beautiful floral designs created by Mat and his team at Red Floral Architecture.
This wedding was photographed by Matthew Rycraft who is particularly excellent at capturing the magificence of stately venues like Knowsley Hall. The flowers were luxurious, bold and yet elegant, the two huge open fireplaces were lit and roaring alongside the flickering flames of an abundance of candles, which reflected beautifully off the sparkly sequin tablecloths, and the snowflake embellishments that adorned their table numbers and matching place cards. The State Dining Room looked even more opulent and magical than usual, perfectly capturing the essence of Christmas and totally suited to the sophistication required for a black-tie wedding!
Rachel looked stunning in her Pronovias gown from The Wedding Club, Birmingham with hair and make up by the talented girls at Peaches and Cream.
Matthew and Rachael opted for an entire matching stationery suite including everything from save the dates, pocketfold day invitations, evening invitations, place cards to slot into baubles, table numbers and huge A1 seating plan. All hand-finished with sparkly snowflakes and luxury satin ribbon bows. Their invitations were so wow their guests knew to expect a top-notch wedding for sure!
